7 DAYS MASAI MARA / LAKE NAKURU /NAIVASHA /AMBOSELI
Reputable for its annual wildebeests migration and the fierce Maasai warriors Masai
Mara is home to the big five lions, elephants, rhino, buffalo and leopards. Nakuru is a
rhino and flamingo haven it sits on the floor of rift valley surrounded by woody and
bushy grasslands. Naivasha on the other hand is famous for its duo treks attractions
“Hells gate national park and Crescent islands”. Amboseli is Legendary for it trio
attractions Masai culture, Mt. Kilimanjaro views and the rich wildlife diversity.
Day 1:
Our professional safari driver will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi for a
safari briefing. After this short introduction, you will hit the road. From Nairobi, you will
enjoy the beautiful views through the Great Rift Valley providing breathtaking panorama
of the Kenyan landscape. Along the way you will stop at The Great Rift Valley viewpoint
for photographs and then on to the town of Narok for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will arrive at your accommodations where you will check in before
heading out for an evening game drive in Masai Mara National Game Reserve (the
jewel of Africa). The Masai Mara is home to the “Big 5” lions, leopards, elephants,
buffalo, and rhino along with over 100 other animals and over 500 species of birds. This
is a great time to spot these animals as they set out eating before it gets dark and they
retreat to the safety of their habitat.
After the game drive, you will return to your accommodation for an authentic African
dinner in your accommodations. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.
Day 2:
After breakfast, you will set out for a full day game drive. [Optional: Take a hot air
balloon ride over the reserve as part of your morning game drive. This is an amazing
way to see the animals up close.] On this day, you will get to go up to the Mara River to
see the crocodiles and hippopotamus. Along other parts of the river, you will see a
variety of animals coming to get a drink of water.
During the drive, your guide will introduce you to each animal you see and answer any
questions you have. This park offers designated areas where you will be able to enjoy a
picnic lunch right out in the open. After lunch, it is time to continue with the safari game
drive.
After the drive, you will return to your accommodations for a well-earned rest before
enjoying an authentic African dinner. After dinner, you can meet other travelers and
swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.
Day 3:
Today you will begin early. After a quick hot drink, it is off for a morning game drive. All
the animals are out in the morning, searching for food, so it is the perfect time for your
drive. After the drive, you will return to your accommodation for a full breakfast before
checking out as you depart for Nakuru arriving late in the afternoon.
Day 4:
On this day, you will begin early. After a full breakfast, it is off to for a morning game
drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Famed for being a rhino and flamingo haven Lake
Nakuru sits on the floor of rift valley surrounded by woody and bushy grasslands. It
offers different panoramic views from its divergent ridges and surrounding escarpments.
It is resident to 56 different species including white rhinos, waterbucks, lions and over
500 plants species.
After the drive, you will depart for Naivasha arriving late in the afternoon. [Optional:
Boat ride to Crescent Island on Lake Naivasha and viewing of the hippopotamus.]
After the drive, you will return to your accommodations for a well-earned rest before
enjoying an authentic African dinner. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.
Day 5:
On this day, you will begin early. After a full breakfast, it is off for a morning game drive
in Hell’s Gate National Park. Aside from all the wildlife, Hell’s Gate National Park is
famous for its natural geysers, star rock towers and a geothermal steam that make it
one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa.
After the drive, you depart for Amboseli arriving in the afternoon you will arrive at your
accommodations where you will check in before heading out for an evening game drive
in Amboseli National Park. Set in rolling savannah scenery, the presence of the snow-
capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro dwarfs the park. At 5,896 meters, it is the highest
freestanding mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa.
Evening is a great time to spot these animals as they are out eating before it gets dark
and they retreat to the safety of their habitat.
After the drive, you will return to your accommodation for an authentic African dinner.
Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.
Day 6:
After breakfast, you will head out for a full day game drive. Amboseli in Masai language
means “place of water”. The park has an endless supply of water, filtered through
thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. Vast herds of elephant,
zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopards are residents here
During the drive, your guide will introduce you to the lifestyle and behaviors of each
animal you see and answer any questions you have. This park offers designated areas
where you will be able to enjoy a picnic lunch right out in the open. After lunch, it is time
to continue with the safari game drive.
After the drive, you will return to your accommodation for a well-earned rest before
enjoying another an authentic African dinner. After dinner, you can meet other travelers
and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s
sleep.
Day 7:
Today you will begin early. After a quick hot drink, it is off for a morning game drive. All
the animals are out in the morning, searching for food, so it is the perfect time for your
drive. The abundance of animals at Amboseli makes it possible for you to see the
greatest variety of African wildlife.
After the drive, you will return to your accommodation for a full breakfast before
checking out. [Optional: Visit the Masai Village where you can discover the tribal
culture and interact with local people. A preview into their homes and social structure is
a touching experience.]
On the drive back to Nairobi, you will stop at the town of Emali for lunch. Our driver will
deliver you back to the airport or your hotel where you can say your goodbyes.
