10 DAYS MASAI MARA /NAIROBI / SEASIDE

Reputable for its annual wildebeests migration and the fierce Maasai warriors Masai
Mara is home to the big five lions, elephants, rhino, buffalo and leopards.

Day 1:

Our professional safari driver will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi for a
safari briefing. After this short introduction, you will hit the road. From Nairobi, you will
enjoy the beautiful views through the Great Rift Valley providing breathtaking panorama
of the Kenyan landscape. Along the way you will stop at The Great Rift Valley viewpoint
for photographs and then on to the town of Narok for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at your accommodations where you will check in before
heading out for an evening game drive in Masai Mara National Game Reserve (the
jewel of Africa). The Masai Mara is home to the “Big 5” lions, leopards, elephants,
buffalo, and rhino along with over 100 other animals and over 500 species of birds. This
is a great time to spot these animals as they set out eating before it gets dark and they
retreat to the safety of their habitat.
After the game drive, you will return to your accommodation for an authentic African
dinner in your accommodations. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

Day 2:

After breakfast, you will set out for a full day game drive. [Optional: Take a hot air
balloon ride over the reserve as part of your morning game drive. This is an amazing
way to see the animals up close.] On this day, you will get to go up to the Mara River to
see the crocodiles and hippopotamus. Along other parts of the river, you will see a
variety of animals coming to get a drink of water.
During the drive, your guide will introduce you to each animal you see and answer any
questions you have. This park offers designated areas where you will be able to enjoy a
picnic lunch right out in the open. After lunch, it is time to continue with the safari game
drive.
After the drive, you will return to your accommodations for a well-earned rest before
enjoying an authentic African dinner. After dinner, you can meet other travelers and
swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

Day 3:
Today you will begin early. After a quick hot drink, it is off for a morning game drive. All
the animals are out in the morning, searching for food, so it is the perfect time for your
drive. The profusion of animals at Masai Mara makes it possible for you to see the
greatest variety of African wildlife.
After the drive, you will return to your accommodation for a full breakfast before
checking out. [Optional: Visit the Masai Village where you can explore the tribal culture
and interact with local people. A preview into their homes and social structure is a
touching experience.] On your way back, you will stop at the small town of Mai Mahiu
for lunch. Our driver will deliver you back to Nairobi for your overnight stay
